Which model should we choose?
Choose Exam Insights-managed setup if you want our team to import users and handle licence changes by email. This is usually the simplest option for a large rollout or a school without a staff member available to manage a portal. Choose self-managed setup if your school wants direct control over users and licences and has an administrator available to use Manage School. If you are unsure, contact the School Partnerships team before purchase at schools@exam-insights.com.What both models share
Regardless of how your school is set up, the following apply:- Existing accounts are recognised — students and educators who already use Exam Insights keep their accounts
- Users choose their own subjects — administrators do not create classes or assign subjects
- No automatic emails — granting a licence does not notify users; your school decides when to communicate access
- Sign-in with school email — Microsoft, Google, or email and password
