Once your school has purchased a School Licence, the next step is getting students and educators access to Exam Insights. During purchase, your school chooses one of two setup models. Both get your users onto the platform — they differ in who handles the admin work.

Exam Insights-Managed Setup

Send us a spreadsheet. We import users, grant licences, and handle later changes by email. Your school does not use Manage School.

Self-Managed with Manage School

Use the Manage School portal to add users, grant and remove licences, and monitor usage yourself.

What both models share

Regardless of how your school is set up, the following apply:
  • Existing accounts are recognised — students and educators who already use Exam Insights keep their accounts
  • Users choose their own subjects — administrators do not create classes or assign subjects
  • No automatic emails — granting a licence does not notify users; your school decides when to communicate access
  • Sign-in with school email — Microsoft, Google, or email and password
