An overview of the Exam Insights platform

How school access works

Schools may provide students with access through a School Licence. The school decides when to tell students that access is available and which setup model it uses. Students choose their own subjects. Schools do not need to create classes or assign subjects inside Exam Insights. Exam Insights does not send an automatic email when a school grants a licence. The school normally provides sign-in instructions directly to students and families. Users must be at least 13 years old. Students aged 13–17 who use Exam Insights through a school may access it under the school’s authority and duty of care. Exam Insights does not capture separate in-app parental consent for every school-provisioned student. Students who register directly and are under 18 should do so with the involvement of a parent or guardian. For the formal requirements, see Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

What information is used?

Depending on how the account is created, Exam Insights may process a student’s name, school, email address, role, selected subjects, account information, progress data, technical information, and AI prompts or responses needed to provide the service. We do not sell student data. Information may be processed by approved service providers that support hosting, security, analytics, and AI features. See Data Collection & Usage, Responsible AI Use, and the Privacy Policy for details.

What can the school see?

Schools can manage users and licences according to their setup model. The Help Centre does not currently promise a classroom dashboard or individual AI-usage reporting. For a school-specific explanation of visibility and reporting, contact the School Partnerships team before rollout.
