What is Manage School?

Manage School is a dedicated portal for school administrators. It gives your school direct control over who has access to Exam Insights and how licences are allocated. Who should use it Manage School is designed for staff responsible for rolling out Exam Insights at your school. Typical users include curriculum leaders, deputy principals, heads of department, and IT administrators. What you can do From Manage School, administrators can:

Adding someone to Manage School does not consume a licence. Licences are only used when you grant access.

Administrator permissions

Schools can appoint unlimited administrators. There is no limit on how many staff members can access Manage School. Typical administrator roles include:
  • Head of Curriculum — oversees rollout across subjects and year levels
  • Deputy Principal — coordinates school-wide adoption and communication
  • Heads of Department — manage access for their subject areas
  • IT Administrator — handles bulk uploads and technical setup

How Manage School works

The typical workflow follows five steps:

Purchase licences

Your school purchases a School Licence through our School Partnerships team.

Add users

Add students and educators individually, via spreadsheet upload, or ask us to import them for you. See Adding Students & Educators.

Grant licences

Assign licences when you are ready for users to access upgraded features. See Managing Licences.

Users sign in

Students and educators sign in with their school email using Microsoft, Google, or email and password.

Users choose subjects

Each user selects their own subjects. Administrators do not need to create classes or assign subjects.
Once users have chosen their subjects, they can start using Exam Insights immediately.
